Ibo Woman Stabbed In Ogun State Over #1500

The Igbo people continue to face systemic targeting across Nigeria, as seen in the brutal murder of Mrs. Blessing Eze, an Igbo businesswoman stabbed to death in Ogun State for refusing to pay an illegal ₦1,500 "festival tax"—a stark reminder of the violence, extortion, and exclusion Igbos endure daily, yet Nigeria still denies them the right to self-determination through Biafra. From market attacks to political marginalization, the message is clear: Igbos are resented for their enterprise yet trapped in a union that exploits their labor while denying them autonomy.

The hypocrisy is glaring—Nigeria oppresses Igbos but clings to their resources and economic contributions. "A people who cannot protect their own will forever remain slaves in another man’s land." It’s time Igbos unite, beyond politics and division, to demand either true equity in Nigeria or the restoration of Biafra—because silence now is surrender
