The pregnant woman, her two children and husband were arrested 30th May, 2025 and till this moment are detained in vigilante cell in Awka.

I am *Barr **********, a legal practitioner and resides in Nnewi, Anambra State. I've once discussed about a particular case with you.
There is this disturbing case I wish to bring to your good office and/or platform for your prompt intervention, subject however to your convenience.
On the 2/6/2025, I got a distress call from one *Ebubechi Ikwo*, who happened to come from same village as me (Ebonyi State). He informed me that his elder brother living in Nnewi was on the wee hour of 30/5/2025 arrested at his residence alongside his heavily pregnant wife, his two children of 4years and 2years respectively, by the men of Udogachi.
Upon the call, I swung into action with immediate effect from the next day and went through all the offices of Udogachi and even other security offices, to no avail.
However, just yesterday being *18/6/2025*, I got a call from the woman's elder brother who informed me that the pregnant woman and her two toddlers are being detained at Udogachi Command, Awka popularly known as *LION HOUSE, AGU AWKA* and that while he was allowed to see them from afar and exchanged greetings, he was not allowed access to discuss with her to know the offence she's be held and more painfully her condition as a pregnant woman and that of the her kids there
Today, the *19/6/2025*, I went to the *Lion House* with him but as expected, we were not allowed access to see them and were asked to come back tomorrow. This is even after I had introduced myself as a lawyer.
While I'm already taking steps to remedy the situation legally, I appeal for your kind intervention to speed up their release, given that the woman is heavily pregnant and nobody knows the present conditions of the kids with her there.

2. Ikwo Chinenye Cynthia (Pregnant Wife)
3. Ikwo Chizaram (4years)
4. Ikwo Chidiogo (2years)
