Nigerians are applauding the King of Tiv’s in Benue, for boldly telling President Tinubu that he is misinformed, that’s why he’s asking them to reconcile and tolerate the violence. Today, HRH James Ortese Iorzua Ayatse said Benue is experiencing a strategic genocide., not communal clash, not skimmish, not farmer-herders clash, not reprisal attacks, but a full blown genocidal land grabbing campaign, by terrorists and bandits.

And the President is apparently unaware, that’s why he’s been prescribing peace talks and reconciliation. Tor Tiv also added that, there are some politicians in the state who are heavily invested in the chaos, who wants it to escalate so that the President would declare a State of Emergency. Adding that, Tinubu’s visit is just one visit out of many events. And the people of Benue do not deserve any of it. With a rousing round of applause, he concluded by urging President Tinubu to do something, because he believes he can. In reaction, the President was shocked to learn that the Police had made no arrests. Pres. Tinubu instantly called on the Inspector General of Police, the Chief of Defense Staff and the Director of DSS to go into the bushes and capture the criminals, because it is shocking that for months, no single arrest has been made. He proffered a strategic committee be set up in Abuja to figure out a solution for lasting peace. And he reminded the Governor that, his enemies do not want him to succeed. But PBAT assured them that this won’t happen again. Nigerians are saying, the Tor Tiv, is probably the first person to tell the President the truth throughout his cabinet. And he said it exactly how it is, without mincing words. Some locals are already calling for the Tor Tiv to run for Governorship. Since he’s already doing the job of Alia Hyacinth, who couldn’t talk truthfully about the situation.
